Refund policy

At Pawsitive Intentions, we take pride in creating high-quality handmade collars. We want you and your furry friend to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your collar, we offer a straightforward return policy.

Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the collar must be in the same condition as when it was received. It should be unused, unworn, with tags, free from any pet hair or odors, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exchanges 
If you received a collar and would like to exchange it for a different size or style, please contact us within 30 days of the purchase date. Exchanges are subject to availability. If the desired size or style is not available, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Repairs
  1. Warranty Period:

    • Collars within the warranty period are eligible for repair free of charge. The warranty period is typically 30 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Out-of-Warranty Repairs:

    • Collars outside the warranty period may be eligible for repair, but charges may apply. Repair costs will be communicated to the customer before proceeding with the repair.
  3. Repair Procedures:
    •  Inspection:
      •  All collars received for repair must undergo a thorough inspection to assess the extent of the damage and determine if it can be safely repaired.
    • Customer Communication:
      • Customers will be contacted promptly with the results of the inspection. A detailed explanation of the repair needed and associated costs (if applicable) will be provided.
    • Customer Approval:
      • Repair work will only commence after obtaining explicit approval from the customer. The customer will be informed about the estimated turnaround time for the repair.
    • Quality of Repairs: 
      • All repairs will be conducted using high-quality materials and workmanship to ensure the collar's safety, durability, and functionality.
    • Testing:
      • After repair, each collar will undergo rigorous testing to ensure that it meets safety and performance standards.
    • Documentation:
      • A record of each repair, including details of the damage, repair work conducted, and testing results, will be maintained for future reference.
    • Shipping and Handling:
      • Shipping Instructions:
        • Customers will be provided with clear instructions on how to ship their collars for repairs, including any packaging requirements.
Return Shipping:
Repaired collars will be shipped back to customers using a secure and traceable method. A tracking number will be provided to the customer.

Refunds
 Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at thepawsitiveintentions@gmail.com

Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges, unless the return is due to a mistake on our part.

Custom Orders
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom-made collars, as they are crafted specifically for your pet and cannot be resold.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Damaged or Defective Collars

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate and resolve the issue promptly.
